Meet Brittany Thomforde
Education:
Brittany’s educational experience includes completing coursework for her Administrative licensure through Saint Mary’s University. Additionally, she holds a Master of Science degree in Special Education from Minnesota State University Mankato and a Bachelor of Applied Arts from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Brittany currently holds licensures in the area of Special Education Director, Special Education (EBD), and Social Studies 5-12.
Experience:
Brittany began her career as a Special Education Teacher in 2001 in the area of EBD for Kenyon-Wanamingo Public Schools. In 2007 she began her work as the Special Education Coordinator for BlueSky Online. It is here where Brittany found her passion for working with charter schools as well as for leadership. Brittany worked for BlueSky Online for four years prior to becoming a coming to ISES.

Personal Side:
On a personal note, Brittany is married and is the mother of two wonderful children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, participating in summer softball and volleyball.
