What are the basics of McKinney-Vento Homeless Education?
What are the particular stressors for homeless high schoolers? Are there any resources for these independent teens and young adults?
This meeting will be a dialogue and sharing session – both to identify what is needed and what is available. The purpose is link and learn. Will there be answers to all our questions? No – but some basics will get cleared up. Will we be able to supports our student’s education and other needs? No, not all of them by a long shot – but you should be able to do a bit better than before.
